GAF SHINGLES

GAF Camelot® II Shingles

Quick Answer

GAF Camelot II is a designer shingle with an artisan-crafted look inspired by European architecture. It is made bigger and thicker than the average architectural shingle to pass the UL 2218 Class 4 impact test, and it comes in five colors. Expect designer pricing, typically $7 to $12 per square foot installed. It suits Georgia homeowners who want a stately, slate-like roof at a fraction of the cost of real slate.

Manufacturer Warranty

Camelot® II carries a Lifetime Limited Warranty against manufacturing defects, with non-prorated coverage for the first 10 years. It requires at least three qualifying GAF accessories. GAF’s standard warranty for Lifetime shingles lists wind coverage up to 130 mph with special installation or 110 mph without it.

ProShield Workmanship Warranty

ProShield Roofing is GAF Master Elite certified, which lets qualifying installations carry the GAF Golden Pledge Limited Warranty. It covers Designer Lifetime Shingles and extends non-prorated coverage on defective materials to 50 years. Read a sample Golden Pledge warranty, and ask us which installations qualify.

What “Lifespan” Actually Means

A Lifetime warranty is a coverage term, not a promise about how long a roof lasts. Designer shingles typically last 30 to 40 years. Real service life depends on ventilation, installation quality, and storm exposure. Learn more about how long a roof lasts.
